Sterling Homes has worked in most of the mountain resort communities over the past quarter century, being one of the pioneers of local construction in the Vail and Beaver Creek area. Constantly adapting to the growing and changing community, we are able to meet the requests of our varying local and second homeowner clients. VailVail is a vibrant community, with locals and visitors enjoying the breathtaking surroundings year-round. The adjacent Vail Village and Lionshead form the heart of the Town of Vail. These international slopeside villages are replete with retail centers and private residences and multifamily units dotted within. Vail Village and Lionshead are also home to some of the Vail Valley's most prestigious residential properties. Dramatic single-family residences line the slopeside paths of Beaver Dam, Forest and Rockledge roads. Some of the resorts most exclusive townhomes and condominiums line Vail Village and Lionshead's pedestrian streets and walkways. Many of Vail Village and Lionshead's residences feature ski-in, ski-out access, while others are just a few steps from the slopes, and most are within easy walking distance of the resort's renowned shopping, dining and entertainment areas. Sterling Homes has played a major role in renovating many exclusive Vail Village residences, including whole-unit remodels, kitchen and bath, living area additions, dormers, deck additions, fire protection, window replacements and many other upgrades. Sterling Homes has worked most recently in Vail Village in the Northwoods Condominiums and Vantage Point.
East Vail is located near the Vail Golf Course and just east of Vail Village. It is primarily a residential community tucked into the base of Vail Pass. Many of these homes in the Town of Vail were built during Vail’s early years and longstanding homeowners remain an active part of the community. Sterling Homes has renovated a large number of single family and multi-family homes in East Vail, in addition to working in the condominium and townhome complexes of Vail Racquet Club, Riverbend Townhomes and Bighorn Townhomes.
West Vail occupies a larger geographic area of the Valley than Vail Village and East Vail. The northern and southern hillsides both provide a broad number of residences. The southern exposure features lushly wooded terrain with broad meadows. The northern exposed side offers dramatic views and abundant sunshine. West Vail is popular with both locals and second homeowners, with a number of small neighborhoods that share a common space and community. A wide variety of properties exist within each of these neighborhoods. Sterling Homes has had the opportunity to work with a number of West Vail residents to remodel properties for updating kitchens, baths, expansions and additions, living areas, garages and other necessary updates. Clients have included residents of many single family homes, Vail Point, and the Town of Vail.
Beaver Creek
Beaver Creek resort provides its residents and visitors an incomparable beauty and mountain luxury. At the doorstep of most residences are shopping, dining, arts and entertainment, along with elegant mountain vistas and worldclass skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and other recreation. In its first 25 years, Beaver Creek has become a world-renowned venue for winter and summer sports. Sterling Homes began operations at the same time that Beaver Creek opened its doors, and built one of the first multi-family dwellings, Creekside Condominiums. We have also had the opportunity to provide construction services to residents of single family homes and other multifamily dwellings in the Beaver Creek resort area. Many of Sterling Homes’ clients are second homeowners seeking to upgrade their homes or condominium units for their brief stay during the peak seasons, as the quarter-century old furnishings and finishes no longer suit their tastes. In addition to many single family residences, Sterling Homes has most recently worked with the Chateau at Beaver Creek, the Upper and Lower Borders Lodge, and the Charter at Beaver Creek.
